Every year, the Arden Community Recreation Association hosts the July 4 Games on the Arden Green. Photographically, I love the last event, when they open a fire hydrant. People walk into the stinging water, covering their faces, their bodies taking on dancer-like postures. Figures far away become ghosts. Remarkable!
