It was a damp chilly day on April 7, 2018 when my wife and I visited Buxton in Derbyshire, England, a village surrounded by Peak District National Park. If I was a bolder photographer that day, I would have taken a photo of three rough-looking men lounging outside the entrance of a pub. It was about noon and, because they did not look friendly, I continued to photograph the town’s architecture instead.
