The land out from Taos, New Mexico, is varied and photogenic. Here are landscapes and a bit of social commentary from the edges of Taos, into the national forests to the west, up into the Jemez Mountains, over to El Rito and Plaza Blanca, into the lands of the Navajo and Hopi in Arizona including Canyon de Chelly and Third Mesa, to Monument Valley, ending in Arches and Canyonlands National Parks in Utah, in July, 2015, what they call “the Monsoon Season”.
Special thanks to my guides, Charlie in New Mexico, and Claude in the Hopi lands. Click on any thumbnail below to enter the slide show. Click the “x” in the upper right of the slide show to return here, or click the ESC key on your keyboard.
