The lovely cinematography of Roman Osin found in the 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice inspired us to come to the Peak District and to Stanage Edge in particular. Of course the danger with any such visit is that the chances are slim of finding the idyllic lighting found in movies, especially if you are not there at sunrise or sunset. My wife and I were there in the afternoon but still found it a good place to walk, with long vistas to the west.
